Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) C Client SDK.
Leveraging Cryptsoft's market leading KMIP client
technology enables end user customers to select the
enterprise key management server vendor that best
supports their current and future security management
strategies. As an Enterprise Licensee, NetApp has the
option to deploy KMIP technology across its product
lines.
"Data security is a key element of our Data Fabric vision,
which gives customers the confidence that no matter where
their data lives, they can control, integrate, move,
secure and consistently manage it. Cryptsoft KMIP
technology integrated with NetApp AltaVault solutions
enables enterprises to confidently secure cloud-based
backup and recovery data and services using industry
leading KMIP-based key management."
said Tim Russell, vice president, Product Security, NetApp.

In a move to bolster the security capability of its
Enterprise NoSQL database, MarkLogic Corporation has
integrated Cryptsoft's industry-leading encryption and
key management technology into its upcoming MarkLogic®
9 database. As a result, customers can secure data,
and seamlessly manage data encryption keys in an
interoperable way without needing to deploy costly and
complex proprietary key management solutions.
"Cryptsoft is a true champion of KMIP - having embraced
KMIP as an early proponent of the standard, they have
established themselves as the major supplier of KMIP
technology to the industry while also helping to drive
the unrelenting evolution of the standard. Cryptsoft's

The encryption and security community is asking for
more from their foundational standards. Developers
of the OASIS Key Management Interoperability Protocol
(KMIP) and the Public-Key Cryptography Standard (PKCS#11)
show how they're rising to that challenge at RSA
2016. In a multi-vendor showcase, 12 vendors demonstrate
their support for new features in two of the industry's
most widely-adopted security standards.
"The OASIS 2016 Interop is a small window into the
reality of proven interoperability between enterprise
key managers, HSMs, cryptographic devices, storage,
security and cloud products," said Tony Cox, OASIS KMIP
Technical Committee Co-Chair and Interoperability Event
Lead. "Demonstrating interoperability between these
products live at the RSA conference each year reinforces
the reality of choice for CIOs, CSOs and CTOs, enabling
products from multiple vendors to be deployed as a single
enterprise security solution that addresses both current
and future requirements."

Whitewood, developers of crypto-security solutions and
Cryptsoft, the major OEM provider of Key Management
Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) technology to the
enterprise key management security market, today
announced a technology integration between the Cryptsoft
KMIP C Server SDK and the Whitewood Entropy Engine(TM)
Quantum-powered Random Number Generator (QRNG).
"Using a quantum-based source of high quality
entropy, we can ensure that we can generate the
quality keys required to strengthen the overall crypto
system. Partnering with Whitewood to integrate their
Entropy Engine, we can create over 70 billion AES-256 bit
keys per day within the Cryptsoft KMIP Server SDK, making
them accessible using a standard KMIP interface," said
Tony Cox, Director, Strategy & Alliances, Cryptsoft. "We
are excited to be partnering with Whitewood Encryption
Systems to bring this technology to the Enterprise Key
Management market, and deliver a significant performance
and security advantage to our customers."
